From the Puu Ualakaa lookout in the Tantalus hills, the entire sweep of Honolulu spreads below — Diamond Head to the east, Pearl Harbor to the west, the city grid in between. Drive up at sunset, stay for the lights. Twenty minutes from Waikiki and almost nobody goes.”
